Exclusive: Inside 'Dance Moms' Star Kalani Hilliker's Vegas Bachelorette Bash
What happens in Vegas doesn't always stay in Vegas. At least, that's the case for Dance Moms alum Kalani Hilliker, who's fresh off her bachelorette party in Sin City—and we have an exclusive look inside the entire celebration. Just a few months shy of her destination wedding in Lake Como, Italy, we caught up with the former reality TV star to get the scoop on her prewedding bash, from the ultra-niche themes (hello, Lucky in Love) to the behind-the-scenes details you didn't see on Instagram.
Inside Kalani Hilliker's Bachelorette Party
Following her dreamy August 2024 engagement to Nathan Goldman in Lake Como, it didn't take long for Kalani Hilliker to embrace her bridal era. "When I was thinking about my bachelorette, I was thinking about places near Arizona that would be easy to get to for most people," she exclusively tells The Knot. "Vegas is always a good time, and it's a classic bachelorette spot. I've also done two of my friends' bachelorette parties in Las Vegas, and we had the best time ever. You can't go wrong."
A self-proclaimed "Type A" bride, the 24-year-old dancer was hands-on from the very beginning. "I made a full Canva template for every single day," she says with a laugh. "I love to plan parties and events, and I always joke that when I'm 50 and bored, I'm going to be a party planner. So I've been living in my wonderland planning my bachelorette."
Of course, she didn't do it alone. Along with the help of her two maids of honor, Hilliker also tapped the bachelorette party planning companies Bach to Basic and GNO Getaways to make the weekend a one-of-a-kind experience for her crew, comprised of her childhood besties, dance friends and even fellow Dance Moms alum Kendall Vertes. "My goal was to give them their own brand trip," she says. "Even though I'm the bride, I wanted to give everybody an experience. I'm grateful that they even wanted to be there to celebrate, so I wanted to make it about my friends and show them gratitude for all that they've done for me."
Day One: Pretty in Purple & Let's Get Wild
Before Hilliker's Las Vegas bachelorette party officially kicked off, she and her group of VIPs enjoyed a private Pilates class in Arizona before hopping aboard a private jet to the Cosmopolitan in Sin City. Clad in a white set with a mini lace veil, the bride-to-be was surprised with a cluster of gold balloons courtesy of The Balloon Chick decorating the plane—a nod to her future last name, Goldman.
Given her affinity for themes, each day was painstakingly planned to perfection, beginning with a celebration of the bride's favorite color, purple. The group donned their best shades of lilac for brunch.
It was a tame start to their day on the strip, which ended with the rather spicy second theme, "Let's Get Wild." After all, what's a trip to Las Vegas without a stop at Thunder Down Under? "We went [to the show] at another one of my friend's Vegas bachelorette parties, and we didn't stop laughing," she says of the male exotic dance performance.
Day Two: Something Blue Before 'I Do' & One Goldman For Life
Given her Vegas bachelorette expertise, Hilliker notes that one of her favorite activities is hitting up beach clubs like Encore and TAO at the Venetian Resort. As such, it only made sense to begin day two with a "Something Blue Before 'I Do'" pool party. "I was very specific about this one," she jokes, explaining that she had her crew dress in light blue hues for the occasion. Further committing to the aesthetic, Hilliker donned a white sash with "Mrs. Goldman" embroidered in blue script.
The fun continued that evening with a "One Goldman for Life" party, where the bride wore a gold outfit (again as a nod to her husband-to-be) while her besties opted for silver ensembles.
Day Three: Lucky in Love & Pearls + Prosecco
While Hilliker was enjoying every second of girl time in Vegas, her fiancé wasn't too far away. Goldman and his friends were celebrating his bachelor party at the same time, allowing the groups to come together for the third (and final) day of fun. "He's my best friend, so of course I wanted to hang out with him every day on my bachelorette," she says. "A lot of his friends and my friends are dating, and we all love to hang out with each other as couples. So we were like, 'Why not spend a day together?'"
The joint festivities commenced with a "Lucky in Love" pool party (an incredibly apropos theme for the setting), where all attendees dressed in red outfits at Palm Tree Beach Club. In fact, Hilliker says Goldman was so committed to the theme that he read books detailing how to play Blackjack leading up to the big weekend. "His main goal was golf and gambling, and mine was taking cute photos and espresso martinis," she says.
Later that night, the celebration concluded with a "Pearls + Prosecco" party. The group ended the weekend at Omnia Nightclub, where photos of the bride and groom rotated on the venue's oversized screens along with the message, "Congrats Kalani & Nathan."
Now that the bach party fun is over, Hilliker has her sights set on their upcoming Lake Como nuptials: "I'm just excited to go through every phase of life together," she says. "I wouldn't want any other person to do life with. He's my biggest supporter, and I'm his. I just got really lucky with finding my person."
